I really do thank you for providing me with lots of gorgeous actors to go hormonal over. Like Sammi Cheng, who I think is totally hot and adorable and I want to marry and have lots of sex and babies with, or Louis Koo, who I also think is hot and adorable and wouldn't mind marrying either. I particularly want to thank you for throwing those two in a movie as a couple where they got to be hot and adorable together. My brain has yet to recover from that insane amount of eye candy. The chemistry between them was also sweet and oddly sexy, which makes me ridiculously happy.
I just wish the rest of the movie didn't suck so badly. I didn't laugh once.
Seriously, you have got to start making movies that don't squander the considerate charms and talents of your fine actors.
ETA: You made up for it with La Brassiere. It didn't leave me dancing like Needing You or Wu Yen did, but it made me laugh quite a bit, the scene in the rain was sweet, and Lena's dream sequence reminded me of one of my favourite bits in Fight Back to School III (still one of all my time favorite comedies) so cheers :) |

I went to a Tom Wait's tribute on Friday night with my sister and I ordered a ceasar salad and this was what they brought me.
Yup, our waiter brought this plate to our table and said, "Here's your ceasar salad" and put it in front of me.
I've been to the venue many times before and I'm used to their salads coming with a slice of toasted bread that you have to break up for croutons and whole slices of bacon that you need to rip apart yourself for bacon bits, but this is a new level of DIY appetizers. My sister and I were howling. The funny thing is my sister said that was one of the most delicious salads she ever had.
The tribute itself was meh. It wasn't a fraction as good as the one I went to with Essjayvee 2 years ago. I kept thinking Dave Matheson did a better job of "Hold On" and Stephen Fearing did a far far FAR better job of "Time", and I miss O Susannah singing "Chocolate Jesus." One of the musican also fell on our table which was very awkward, but the presence of a banjo, a very sexy ukelele, and a tuba (yes, a tuba) made up for a lot of the mediocrity.
The next day we went rockclimbing which could only be summed up caplocksically as AMAZING BEYOND WORDS! and I WANT TO DO IT AGAIN! <3<3<3
Spent the rest of the weekend with Essjayvee and the Mr., which was fun. Finally got around to fixing a sweater for Jennyface and watching Alien, which was very good. Sigourney Weaver has such a nice voice and Ian Holm is awesome as a talking head :)
Okay, tired. Going to clean my room and then sleep. |
