Soooo.. I probably didn't get the job. They were talking about how they need people right away and I need to give a month's notice to my company. One of the ladies mentioned that they would also be hiring people around September 1. *big, big, BIG sigh*

Plus, there's the tried-tested-and-true "I feel so stupid" feeling after an interview didn't happen and that usually means I didn't get the job. It's true! Usually if I'm not smashing my head against something promptly after the interview, it means no job for Ali. The head smashing came much afterwards..

Also, why oh why did I not take the opportunity to ask what their QA processes were? WHY????

Alright, I'm gonna go wallow a bit in self-pity and then maybe do some drawing homework to make me feel better.

....

*big, big, big, big, big sigh*

What's with jobs needing people "right away?" It was one of the things that drove me nuts when I was jobsearching. Even if I'm working at crapall Subway Sandwiches, I *STILL* need to give them a two weeks notice. I know, minimum crap job vs. career possibility, but I think employers expecting people to drop everything and fill in the position right away are on the moon.

Rant over. :( Sorry that you feel like you didn't get the job. Could you try out for the September one?

There'll be other interviews (egads!) and other job offers, I'm sure of it. *HUGS*

That's really stupid. 2 weeks is nothing. It's a good time to prepare for someone. i.e. training.

Ah well, we'll see. It would help if I applied to other places as well. LOL. It took a lot of energy to update my resume ... and write a cover letter (<-- the worst part!).

Oh well, I did my best, right? It's all I can ask for.
