This was for Shaw? Honestly, companies spout all sorts of bull, but they will compromise when it comes time. It's either: 1) have crap candidate (or no one at all), or 2) wait a little longer for better candidate. So don't worry so much about that bit. If they want to hire someone, they will bend a bit.
